Chaz Hollis Bolte Mayor Emsworth

Communications

As Mayor I will provide a Monthly Newsletter available both in print and via email that will provide information to the community about local events and businesses. Facebook and NextDoor are used by a smaller percentage of citizens than more efficient tools such as email, text services, and newsletters.

History Initiative

Let’s Create a history initiative that allows us to tell the story of Emsworth to future generations. This is a great way to get the community together and learn about our past. We can set up monthly in the Borough Hall and record our history one citizen at a time.

Parks

Marmo Park and Vinegar Hollow are vital to the Borough and its families. As Mayor I would focus on ensuring we get the most out of the upcoming construction project at the park and would ensure our voices are heard with the Hollow Oak Land Trust. I would also work to bring family events to the park.

Why Do I Want To Be Mayor?

I believe in the power of communities coming together.

I grew up in Shaler, PA and attended Slippery Rock University where I earned a BS in Multimedia Technology.  After graduation my wife Jennifer and I moved to Brooklyn, NY where I worked for the communications department of the AFL-CIO Building and Construction Trades Council.  In that position I helped teach trade unions and labor groups how to organize using new media and the internet.  Now we call Emsworth home and are raising our two young sons here.

I grew up in a community full of positive leaders in their prime giving selflessly of themselves for the betterment of everyone.  Now out of gratitude to those who came before I feel a calling to serve my community in the same way.  Emsworth deserves leadership that treats its citizens with respect and is always willing to listen and lend a helping hand.

Let’s change Emsworth together!

what would i do as Mayor?
